LILLY THE LIGHT BULB

Lilly is a light bulb who always shines so bright

Shining on the family is such a lovely sight.

Lilly likes the winter best, that's when she works the most

Lighting up the mornings while the family have their toast.

Lilly likes the sun though; its warm glow feels just right

She blushes red when Mr Moon smiles down on her at night

Lilly even likes the stars they twinkle in the sky.

She sometimes twinkles back at them, but stars are very shy.

Fairy lights are pretty too and so are fire flies

and Lilly loves the candles on a birthday cake surprise.

She thinks all lights are useful in their very special way

But Lilly says her light is tops, cause she can shine all day
