ICE CREAM

It's yummy and it's creamy, it's cold and very sweet

It's what I always choose to have when I'm allowed a treat

There's lots of different flavours, I give them all a try

 Then mix them up together to make a messy pie

I have lots of favourite flavours far too many to recite

So here are just a few of them to wet your appetite. 

Mint chip and vanilla, coconut and cherry

Banana, caramel, milk, and nut, and don't forget blueberry!      

My daddy says one day I'll wake to find that I've become

A triple chocolate sundae topped with cherries and a plum

But I just grin and lick my lips and dream of toffee swirl

and wonder what I'd look like if I was an ice cream girl
