'Three Four Time' is the third and final stage in our three tier musical education program and is directed at the pre school age group 3-5 years. Children attend this class on their own, giving them a real sense of independence. These classes are a perfect follow on from 'Music with Mummy' or from an other pre school music class where children attended with a parent or carer.
These wonderful music sessions allow children the opportunity to express themselves through music and rhythm in a fun, friendly and safe environment.
Three Four Time sessions are also perfect for taking in to nurseries, offering a structured and professional soloution to those nurseries wishing to offer their children a complete fun music and rhythm learning experience.
'Three Four Time' classes are restricted to just 10 (maximum 12) children, keeping close our ethos of small, warm and cosy classes where there's plenty of direct interaction between the child and the teacher.
These 45 minute sessions offer a similar structure to 'Music with Mummy' in so far as they follow a 6 week theme, a learning objective and there is listening time and percussion time. However the content of the themes are more involved with more emphasis on drama, as the children are encouraged to participate in acting out stories through music.
There are more challenging songs to learn which really do make this a tremendous musical learning experience for children approaching school age. Indeed children who complete our program of 'Jolly Babies', 'Music with Mummy', through to 'Three Four Time' will have a musical knowledge base equivilant of Grade 1 Music. What a wonderful grounding to have for school.
Our 'Three Four Time' themes include titles such as The Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Magic Garden, Carnival of the Animals and as with our 'Music with Mummy' classes, at the end of every theme each child is awarded with a personalised laminated certificate in recognition of their acheivments.
